Perinjanam Panchayath
Our concept is to convert the entire ‘Perinjanam’ Panchayath into a self-sustaining Collective with the help and support of the members / households of the area as well as financial and non-financial support and assistance from various pro-active individuals and organisations. This is with the full support and cooperation of the local Government bodies in charge of this area.
The Collective is an intentional community that is consciously designed through locally owned participatory processes in all four dimensions of sustainability (social, culture, ecology and economy) to regenerate social and natural environments.
SatM’s various projects for this Panchayath will together form the Perinjanam Collective. And individually or collectively sponsored or funded. Maybe the first of it’s kind in India.
